In his October newsletter, Dave mentioned two side projects he´s working on.

Quote :
I have a ton of songs brewing, many of them won’t make the record, some of them are going to better suited for a punky-pop side project which seems to be coming together. Some of them will be better suited for an electronic project I’ve been working on with an old friend from home.

I can definitely image a punky-pop side project. But an electronic project...  Question   I´m more than curious about that.

I'm curious...and concerned. I should have more faith in Dave but I'm trying to think of an example of "electronic" music that I don't loathe with a burning passion. Unless I'm thinking of the wrong thing. If anyone has a good example of really good electronic music, please send it my way!

Ususally I also don´t like this kind of music. But for some reason I like the German band Wolfsheim ( http://youtu.be/9cm82Sktdvg or http://youtu.be/8IFakWvfGaE ) Don´t know why, I guess particulary because of the voice.

Electronic music is a wide range. Let´s wait and see what Dave brings out. And after all, I don´t have to like everything he´s doing. Wink

Thanks for the examples. Not half bad. I'm trying to imagine something like that with Dave though and my brain cannot reconcile that combination, haha. So I'll just say, good for Dave branching out and I'll just have to wait and form an opinion when I hear it.

It was a bit too early to post the link to the Stranger Stations debut songs last week. They weren´t intended to be published then, but will be released very soon. Stay tuned!

I like it too. And I don´t even like electronic music very much.

Just a bit disappointed that Dave didn´t do vocals. I love his voice and every song he plays with a band without singing feels somehow like a wasted opportunity...
