I bought all of those and was wondering what people think about those different versions from Resolutions. Which one are better? IMO opinion Heavy Hearts definitely kicks the album versions ass, Prague and Cmon Kid are maybe not better, but really different so it kinda makes the song vibe or message different, Pray For Tucson is good, Time Will Tell kinda lacks the audience singing and the rest of them are good, but they do not beat the album versions. Skips A Beat Over You is propably my favorite cover.

I agree with the cover. And my favourite alternative version is the C'mon Kid piano version. It's so beautiful!

Prague on Resolution is kinda party anthem (and IMO opinion he should have recorded the way they did it on Revival Tours). Walking on the streets of some city (in this case Amsterdam) completely wasted with your friends many nights "having way more fun than you knew you could (or should)"

But then the 7 inch version is someway haunting and either the next day or then the 6-7 day when you should just stop, but you just keep going. It kinda says it all in the way he pronounce the first line "Oh bring me some water and after that another glass of wine". Or thats the way I think about it Very Happy

My favourite cover is definitely Odessa. Dave´s dark voice in this song is just incredible!

I think you cannot compare the 7 inches to the album versions. They are totally different. The 7 inches are raw and pure. The album songs are aranged with all kinds of instruments. I love both, more or less.

More: 7" Years From Now - very nice acoustic version!
Less:  7" C´mon Kid - Sorry, but I don´t really like piano music. I need guitars.

For the same reason I should love the 7" Time Will Tell, but unfortunately the singing isn´t that powerfull as on the album.
